The past six months have been intense at our Malmö branch! Shortly before the new year, we officially opened the expansion of our impressive 34,000 m² storage terminal, fully connected to the rail network. At the same time, we have scaled up our business operations with customers to an entirely new level! This year also marks the beginning of collaborations with several new long-term clients, significantly strengthening our service offerings.
Expanded capacity
With this additional capacity, we have been able to support Billerud in realizing their future logistics vision. Our operations have been scaled up to meet their requirements, now handling approximately 20 rail wagons per day filled with paper products in a fully enclosed terminal. With dedication, we are building new processes and a modern IT platform to support them in the long term, with a strong focus on sustainable and high-quality solutions.
A warm welcome to Vaillant
We are delighted to welcome Vaillant Group, a leading manufacturer of heat pumps and high-efficiency gas boilers, to our warehouse. Westerman now serves as the Nordic distribution center for Vaillant. By synchronizing movements with data integration and leveraging our internal engineering teams, we emphasize our strategy of seamless customer integration with continuous improvements.
Tepe Group joins us
Additionally, we are excited to announce our collaboration with TePe Group. Westerman will handle the storage and international transport of TePe’s healthcare products, which are produced in Sweden and Malmö. We work closely with our customers, and TePe is a perfect fit—this promises to be a fantastic partnership!
